Job bio
We're looking for a Membership Care Executive to join our HQ team and become a friendly voice behind Roots. Reporting to our Membership Care Lead, you'll be the first point of contact for potential and existing members — answering questions, onboarding and converting leads, helping people feel excited, reassured, and well looked after.
From guiding potential members through the sign-up process to supporting current growers with their patch, this is a people-first role. If you're warm, proactive, and love a good chat, we want to hear from you!
What you'll do
- Be the frontline of our member experience — answering calls, texts, emails, and queries with a friendly, can-do attitude
- Support the Membership Care Lead in driving sign-ups, managing member communications, and improving our care processes
- Build relationships with members and help them get the most from their Roots experience
- Keep accurate records of member feedback and flag trends or issues
- Take part in team meetings and projects to help improve our service
About You
- A confident communicator who thrives on the phone and makes people feel at ease
- Experience in sales, converting leads, customer service and community engagement
- A proactive attitude — you're not afraid to take the initiative and ask questions
- Someone who's positive, organised, and ready to learn
- A natural team player who's happy to follow direction and also contribute ideas

Working hours
- Hybrid role – 3 days in our Bristol HQ office, 2 days at home
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
