Mitch's Herb Patch
You're in for a treat, we're visiting Mitch's herb patch, where he'll tell us about his kitchen favourites and some lesser-known edible herbs such as Hairy Creeping Thyme, Chinese Chive & Blue Hysopp.
As a rare seed expert, Mitch shares his wisdom about the history of some interesting herbs in this lesson such as English Mace which was grown in the Medieval times. It was traditionally cut and thrown on the floors as a type of carpet!
Then there's the botanical plant that smells like a cola bottle & is winter-hardy!
Why not try growing Lovage this year, a unique, lemony herb with umbellifer flowers, that the insects will go bonkers for!
