Edging Your Patch
You'll be surprised how much difference it makes to keep your plot tidy! Edging is an essential part of this & is an ongoing job throughout the season.
As it overgrows it is rooting underneath as well as overground! Charles will show you how to deal with the moving edge, where weeds creep in & pests hide!
Tool options; the best tool option for this task is a half-moon edger, but you can also use a small spade & trowel or long-handed shears. Be ready with a bucket for the weeds you'll find & take out as you go.
Cut in & use a trowel to pull up the grass, and tap off the soil before you pop it into the compost.
TOP TIP: reclaiming your edges, means more room for growing food or pollinating flowers, don't miss out on valuable No Dig space!
