Charles's top tip for your watering can is to be careful to not overwater! When you visit your Allotment, you'll find a trusty watering can in the Community Tool Shed.

Your watering can is essential for maintenance but specifically just before and after planting, depending on the soil and how rainy it's been.

You can check the earth by popping your fingertips into the soil, and if it's dry soak the ground with your watering can. It's easier to 'dib' holes & the moisture will be readily available for your new plantings.

Having the 'rose' on the can means you don't oversaturate the ground. However, using one without can be useful if you want to water your plants specifically one by one.
