It's time to prepare the no-dig bed! As you arrive at Roots all of this will be done for you, but year on year this will need to be something you think about.

Depending on when you lay a fresh layer of compost will depend on how much you need to prepare your soil. Perhaps it just needs a quick rake or maybe some pressure applied with your boots!

Get close and personal with the lovely soil. Ensure you take out any weeds, and tiny bits of plastic (even Charles finds small bits in his homemade compost!) and then you're ready to work out your spacings. Let's Grow!
