Woodchip Paths

Roots Ed is making a new path today on his allotment. This one will go through the middle so it's easier to walk & reach. It makes accessing your harvest and weeding a little easier on your back!

Why is woodchip a perfect material for your pathways? It suppresses weeds, retains moisture & supports mycelium! Woodchip will gradually and slowly decay, so top up twice a year.

In this lesson, Ed will show you an easy way to make woodchip paths on your patch. Bring along cardboard & a barrow of woodchip.

TOP TIP: Larger chips will attract slugs!
