We join Charles at Homeacres to learn about Radish sowing and spacing! How many are you growing? How big would you like them to be? Which variety are you trying this year?
Empower yourself to find out what works for you. Think of spacing as a chance to experiment with growing conditions for different results.
Radish likes to be close, multi-sowing & small spacings work great, but if too overcrowded they'll produce plenty of leaves and not many of the crunchy salad toppers.
Work out where your bed edges will be, using your dibber mark out roughly where you'd like to plant and start to make the holes around 6in apart.
Radishes lend themselves well to multi-sowing directly but equally, transplanting your plants from your module trays is quick & simple too. Have fun with this colourful fast growing veg!
