About

This course shows how to clear plants when they are ready to be composted in a way that causes the least amount of soil disturbance! With the no dig technique, there are ways in which we keep more root systems in the ground after the plant has stopped cropping, our growing experts will show you the best ways in which to do this.

Clearing techniques change for different plants but there are some fundamental ideas for respecting the earth and looking after your No Dig Allotment at Roots. We harvest & clear our crops so that the soil's microbial network is not disturbed and the most nutrients possible are held in the soil for your next season.
