When we respect the soil, they can be quite tricky to harvest. Luckily Charles shows us in this video how to pull the carrots from the ground, what might be challenging & the best tools to use!

Once the carrots have been unearthed and the leaves trimmed for the compost, Charles gives tips on how to store them. The way to lift carrots is similar to parsnips & garlic, let's look after the organisms in the soil by closing up the top layers & re-firming the ground, this can be easily done with our feet!
