Fennel fronds have bushed out and are swaying in the summer breeze. Hopefully, some have bulbed up and are ready to take home.

Charle Dowding shows the difference between bulbs and elongated Fennels. In this No Dig Bed, the Fennel was multi-sown. You'll see that you can leave the smaller ones undisturbed to continue growing, by just harvesting the bigger ones. To do this slowly and gently twist at the base, leaving the roots in the ground.
