Spinach Harvesting

Spinach is a grower's favorite, even Minty the Cat has come to help! Check out this lesson with Charles Dowding where the spinach is on it's third pick...

Plant your spinach out in August and this fast grower will give lots of harvests in the colder months, and grow on into May! The No Dig soil is perfect conditions for producing hardy, strong and heavy cropping spinach plants. Pick them lightly and often.

A boost to your immune system and full of antioxidants, this leafy, green plant tastes glorious fresh from the patch!

Food for Thought: Early sowings won't produce large leaves and put down long roots as they'll think it's time to flower in spring.
